Hello my birds,
It feels so good to be back.
The one good thing about the current situation is that I have more time to do the things I love which are: self care, sports, blogging, taking photos and relax. I've thus decided that I will blog again. 2020 is going to be the year I get back into blogging. After all, there are 652 of you. I cannot let you down.
For my 26th birthday, my friends and I decided to go on a little adventure. We spent our weekend: 48 hours in Italy. We went to the airport straight after work. Our flight was delayed so we were in our Airbnb past midnight. We managed to find a place which would deliver us food but it was the most disgusting pizza we ever ate. Definitely not a great start to our Italian adventure...
The weather was very warm and not so windy. It was very sunny. We spent the day walking around Palermo, doing an itinerary I found on Google. The city was very cute and crowded. It's quite surprising. Restaurants are quite expensive and not the best food I ever ate. If you cook your own food, it'll definitely cost less. For instance, we bought everything to do a big and full breakfast for 5 and it costs us less than half of what it would have cost us in France. They have so many vegan options as well. I tasted the best Vegan chocolate spread ever. Food is good and cheap. I wish it was the same here in France.
Indubitably, I could not travel and not shop. You know me, I'm addicted to shopping. Besides, after all, it was my birthday! So we ditched the boys and went on a small shopping spree. There were a few nice little shops in Palermo. Sephora was more expensive through. I was good and only bought a dress. If you know me, it deserves an applause.
On the night of my birthday, we ended up staying at the flat since our feet hurt like hell. We spent the night laughing, singing, drinking, eating and dancing. I could have not hoped for a better birthday.
On our last day, we walked around the block and then decided to take the bus to the airport. The airport is very small. It was quite a long wait. We arrived in France in time for dinner. I slept like a baby that night. It was an exhausting but amazing Birthday weekend with my friends.
Have you ever been to Italy?
Thank you for reading and I'll see you soon ♥ x

Hello my birds,
It's been a long time since I changed my beauty routine. I'm the kind of girl who usually sticks with a routine. I used to be a huge Khiel's fan. I still use their face cream during the day but I felt like I needed to switch things up. I didn't want to go back to my usual safe bet either. I then decided to try only new things. On a sunny saturday morning I went to the closest Sephora. By the way, I need to do a room toor soon. I moved into a new city three months ago and my new flat is pretty cool. However, the decor is not finished yet. Anyway, I'm getting off topic here. As I was saying, I went for 3 new products and I will share my first impressions on all of them. I hope you will enjoy that :)
― By Terry, baume de rose, face cream.
First off, I loooove the smell of this By Terry Baume de Rose Face cream. The colour is a beautiful creamy dusty pink. It has a light and creamy formula. It doesn't feel greasy at all. You don't need to use a lot of product either. My skin appears brighter and hydrated.
― Origins, Out of trouble, face mask.
I am a big fan of Origins Charocal mask. The Out of Trouble face mask though doesn't make a huge difference to be honest. I've only used it once but I didn't notice anything significant. I will have to try it a few times before making a clear decision but so far I'm not impressed.
― Clinique, all about eyes rich, eye cream.
I've only tried Clinique's take the day off range on which I did a review back in June 2017. I didn't hate it so I thought why not try their skincare range as well. A friend of mine recommended me the eyes rich eye cream from Clinique. I will need 2 weeks to see if it actually works on me. I will keep you posted! Nonetheless, it doesn't hurt my sensitive eyes.
― Sephora, Promegranate eye masks.
I have tried a couple of those masks. I even did a review on this eye mask. You can find it here. I'm hoping it'll work better this time! Fingers crossed, my babes.
On overall, it's a pretty successful haul. I cannot wait to do a review on all of those new products I have incorporated in my 2019 skincare routine.
What is your current skincare routine?

Hello everyone,
I'm back. A few weeks ago, I spent three days at my parents' house in the mountains. It was a nice and chill weekend. It had a few incidents... I fell and hurt a grandma. Yep, not my finest hour... After that, the next day, I had a panic attack... It was pretty awful. It only happened to me once before... I could not think, breath or move. I could barely talk. All I wanted was a hug and a bit of prodding... Not easy not easy. I hadn't ski in 10 years. The accident had overwhelled me more than I thought... It took me a while but I finally managed to try to ski again. I got to spend New Years Eve there as well. It was quite funny. I met a lovely couple who showed me how two people can find themselves even years after they lost hope in love... I drank, eat and slept a lot. Definitely one of my best memories :) I can't wait to go back in February!
Do you enjoy skiing?

Hello lovebirds,
A few month ago I went on a little adventure with one of my best friends. We decided on a whimp to go on a big adventure. We went to California in November. It was pretty nerve-wracking. It was our first time in California and in the US. The beginning of the trip was complicated: missing papers, long lines, traffic jam, different sits, long flights. I experienced long flights for the first time. I have to admit I hate it. I couldn't sleep on the plane. They feed you too much plane/plain food. It's cold. People are sitting too close to you. It never ends. The bright side is that on our way back we had a few nice movies to watch which made the time fly by quicker.
We finally arrives at LAX after 17 hours. Our hotel was in Hollywood: The Hollywood Hotel. It was a nice hotel: clean with a good complemantary breakfast. They had different facilities which we unfortunately didn't get to experience.
On the second - well, technically our first day in LA - we rented a car. A lovely red Toyota Corolla and head for the highway. During our trip, we saw: the Hollywood sign, Venice Beach, Beverly Hills, Hollywood boulevard, Rodeo Drive, Santa Monica, Newport Beach & Disneyland Park California. We ate, visited, walked, did some shopping, drove and enjoyed the sun and the beach. It was a break from our usual routine.
I fell in love with Californian beach but I don't think I'll go back there any time soon. I was overwhelmed by the social differences in Los Angeles. It’s truly heart-breaking to watch.
For the first time in my life, I truly realized how lucky I was to be born in France, how priviledged we are in Europe and simply that what I'm accustomed to can be thought as luxury to some. While here I'm simply part of the middle class, my struggle is nothing compared to theirs. I was fortunate enough to be born in a country and a family such as mine. I have never had to worry about where to catch my next meal or where to sleep or if I will be out on the streets by midday. If this trip has taught me anything, it has to be just that.
Where did you last travel to?
Thank you for reading and I'll see you soon ♥ x
