The French Almond exfoliating cream from Academie is my favorite ever. I'm usually not one for exfoliating cream but this one is simply the one. I've never tried anything like it. It works wonderfully. It smells incredibly. I'm simply impressed.
Then, there is this LUSH mask. As you all know, I'm quite the lushie. This Fresh Face Mask is none other than Catastrophe Cosmetic. Its reputation preceeds it. I have used it myself several times. After eating like a pig over Christmas, it's just the perfect skin remedy. Well, at least, for me! Anyway, here is a little remedy for your blue days...
See you next time, ladies! Enjoy and thanks for reading ♥
“ There is something in the human spirit that will survive and prevail,
there is a tiny and brilliant light burning in the heart of man
that will not go out no matter how dark the world becomes. ”
“ There was no answer, except the general answer life gives to all the most complex and insoluble questions. That answer is: one must live for the needs of the day, in other words, become oblivious. ”
― Leo Tolstoy
1) what's your morning routine?
Mmmh, I wake up, take a shower, get ready, drink my tea - and/or coffee- and eat breakfast, take care of my cat, check my emails and then go outside. Nothing quite interesting here I'm afraid.
2) what's the song that you keep listening to these days?
Mmm, that would be Someone New, from the Hozier or You me at six - Room to breath. I've gotten quite addicted to Spotify lately.
3) if you could travel to a place right now, where would it be?
Damn, I don't know which one to pick. I wish I was in a lot of places. I guess I'd stood somewhere between Ireland and England. Well, I would go to Manchester but I love Dublin just the same. Do you see my problem, here? ahahahahah
4) what's your favourite dessert?
My Italian blood is screaming : TIRAMISU.
5) how do you picture yourself in 10 years?
Oh my... That would make me 32 years old. It seems so far ahead... I don't know. Hopefully, I would have a job and travel a lot. My cat will still be by my side. Maybe a boyfriend? Who knows... That sounds like the perfect life. I'm sure it will be far from it but a girl can dream, right?
Coucou, my beautiful birds!
En ce moment j'écoute surtout Someone New, the Hozier ou You me at six - Room to breath.
Oh my... J'aurais 32 ans. Cela semble tellement loin...
1. The Bodyshop, Aloe Calming Toner. ≈ It did absolutely nothing to my skin. It made no difference.
2. Estee Lauder, Double Wear (Concealer). ≈ After a while, it only make my eyes look greyish. It doesn't cover much of dark rings under my eyes. I have to apply at least 3 layers to get a decent coverage... Seriously, I had a great disillusion on this one...
3. Lancôme, teint miracle (foundation). ≈ I bought this foundation thinking it will be lightweight and somewhat radiant. It has medium coverage and it adds litterally no light to my face. It's a rather matt formula.
4. Nars, The Multiple in Copacabana. ≈ Well, this one was my Christmas present last year. I liked it so much but now, I've grown out of said love. It's simply 'too white' - understand sliverish - for my fair skin. It doesn't really do anything unless I apply a ridiculous amount of it. So I guess, I have mixed feelings on this one.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1. The Bodyshop, Aloe Calming Toner.
4. Nars, The Multiple in Copacabana.
