From an early age, fashion has always been a big part of my heart. For as long as I remember I have always loved fashion. I've always dreamt over the pricy and beautiful - expensive - things in my magazines. I've always dreamt of wearing them - someday.
I would go into my mom's huge dressing and spend hours getting dressed with shoes and dresses that were way too big for me. My friend and I would set up (fake) fashion shows. It was a way for me to express myself. I express myself through my clothes.
I wanted to make somewhat of a lookbook for you. A place where you could find inspiration for those days... You know, the days when you feel like you have nothing to wear. I've gathered a few options for you but I'm sure that if you want you can find something pretty similar in your wardrobe. Anyway, this is only how I usually dress. This is my personnal style. Your style can be pretty different and I'm sure it's even more lovely! I can't wait to hear what you think about my mini lookbook!

Hello mes lovely people. J'ai songé à partager mon "style" vestimentaire (ou plutôt mes goûts) avec vous. Je pense que cela fait partie de ces changements envisagés pour Serenbird. J'aimerais partager plus de choses avec vous. Je souhaite pouvoir parler de plein de sujets divers et variés. Des sujets qui pourraient vous intéresser. Depuis mon plus jeune âge, la mode a toujours eut une grande place dans mon coeur. D'aussi loin que je me souvienne j'ai toujours eut cette passion pour les jolies choses, les beaux tissus et toutes ces pièces d'exception bien souvent inatteignables. J'ai toujours rêvé de les porter (peut-être un jour...) Je passais des heures dans le grand dressing de ma mère à essayer ses chaussures et ses robes dix fois trop grandes. Mon amie et moi-même organiserions même des (faux) défilés. La mode est pour moi une façon de m'exprimer, de forger mon identité...
Je voulais réaliser pour vous un petit lookbook. Un endroit où vous pourriez trouver un peu d'inspirations pour ces jours noirs... Ces jours où vous ne semblez rien trouver dans votre armoire... J'ai rassembler quelques idées, différentes options de tenues. Je suis sûre que vous pourrez trouver quelque chose de similaire dans votre armoire ou plutôt de quoi reproduire ce look. Ceci n'est que mon style personnel. Peut-être que cela ne vous correspond pas. Et c'est tout à votre honneur. J'ai hâte de connaître vos avis!

I have decided to be a bit more optimistic. I had my hopes up and I let faillure bring me down. I am not a quitter or like they'd say on the tv show SCANDAL : ' ARE WE GLADITORS OR ARE WE BITCHES ? ' Well, I'm a gladiator. I don't give up easily. I needed to remind myself of it I guess. I am not doing very great in my university course at the moment but I am not giving up either. My intership in a primary school is almost over. It has been quite enlightening. Like probably almost everyone in their 20s I am struggling to find my path. Knowing what you want to do with the rest of your life is not an easy task. Anyway, I figured I would share with you what makes me happy on a daily basis. What make your life brighter?
I know I have not been around much lately but I have been quite busy. I also moved back into my apartment. I am having a lot of ' I forget so many things back home ' kind of moments lately. I'm struggling to find the right balance between my work, studies and life. I should be able to take some photographs on Wednesday (hopefully!) so that is good news.

I hope you are still here. First, I'd like to apologize for my little break. I hope you've not lost hope about Serenbird. I really enjoy blogging and speaking my mind. I have been thinking a lot while I was gone. I'm not very sure I'll have time to blog a lot this year. I have a lot of things planned. Even if it's not very wise, I think I'm going to keep blogging - except it won't be as regular as it was this summer. I will try posting one or two blogs a week. I can't promise you anything but I'll do my best. I hope there are still people out there that will want to read and join me.
