Hello my birds,
I don’t know about you but the current anxious and stressful climate is making me do shopping therapy. I’ve been buying way too much lately. Mainly clothes and makeup but also a few homeware pieces. I’ve been doing my Christmas wish list. I’m adding stuff everyday at the moment… It’s getting out of control. Send help…
I thought I’d share with you my current wishlist. I would love to know yours as well.

I’ve been doing my Christmas wish list. I’m adding stuff everyday at the moment… It’s getting out of control. Send help…
I thought I’d share with you my current wishlist. I would love to know yours as well.
1. That Na-kd dress of dreams
I feel in love with the lace details and the fit of this dress. I don’t own any cream long sleeves white dress. Strange as I own a lot of white and cream blouses.2. A white hoodie
I’m looking for a comfy white hoodie to wear with a leather jacket or simply to chill around the house on the weekend. If you know of any soft and cosy white hoodie, please let me know!3. A black aviator coat or Shearling jacket
I already own an aviator jacket. It’s the best. It’s pink. I have been wearing it for years and it is still in great conditions. However, I find that I’m lacking a black or neutral jacket. I have grey or coloured coats. I have my eyes on a couple but since last year, i cannot seem to find one that fits… I guess it’s the curse of being 5”1 and having no shoulders.4. A book from a designer (Yves Saint Laurent or Dior)
I have quite the book collection but I’m lacking one thing. Designer books. I almost bought a book from Yves Saint Laurent last year when I was at the museum in Paris. I’ve always regretted not buying it. I’m hoping Santa will hear me and get one for me ahah5. A big beige scarf
As a disclaimer, I should say that I own a million scarves already. It’s a passion of mine. Besides, I live in a very windy city so I tend to wear them very often. I would love to have a soft and big scarf in a pale colour.6. Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder
I already own this setting powder in a compact power. I recently spoke with a makeup artist and got the chance to try the loose setting powder. It completely changed my life. It's honestly even better.7. Viktor & Rolf Bonbon perfume
I have had this perfume for years but I seem to have lost it. I’m so crushed. I love the smell. It’s sweet but not too sweet. The right amount that won’t make you sick.8. Nintendo Switch
I’m late on the wagon but I feel like I would enjoy playing games. I have to admit it’s a long stretch as I never play games. I always feel tired and lose interest after a few weeks. This is the only reason preventing me from getting the Nintendo Switch.9. White or sandy rug
I’m considering getting a big rug for the bedroom or the living room. It adds such a cosy and warm tone to a room. I love rugs but I have a cat so it would eventually end up ruined. I don’t know… What do you think?10. A textured blazer
They are so trendy this year and always come back in style. I remember my mom used to wear them to work. I always dreamt of having a Chanel blazer or a Balmain blazer. I don’t think this will happen anytime soon but they are some fairly beautiful ones on the high street at the moment.11. A beige bedspread
With the new bedroom, I feel like all my old bedspreads don’t go very well. I feel like I need more neutrals: white, beige, brown, greys. We need something not too over the top, rather minimalist. What’s on your wishlist, my birds?
Thank you for reading and I'll see you soon ♥ x

Hello my birds,
2020 has been quite the year for all of us. Whether we have had to deal with cancellation, deceptions, heart-breaks or tears, it has been a rollercoaster. I hope none of your family or close ones have been suffering of Covid-19. It is quite serious and nothing like what we have encountered before.
I have also moved in with my boyfriend (Mr. B for those who follow me on Instagram). We are living in a smaller and recent flat. It has a big balcony which is great. It’s very cute and cosy with a lovely industrial vibe.
I’m currently in lockdown. I don’t think much of it as I have been in that position since March. I only went to work in the office a couple of days in August. It does break my heart that I can no longer go to the gym. I have been going there everyday. It helps with my mental health. I have suffered from anxiety so it was amazing to relieve some stress with sport. It was also some place I could go and see people. I guess I will have to get used to working out at home again. Finding the motivation to do it, has not been easy. Have you managed to do it?
What about you? How have you been feeling?

How I feel about the rising violence
What both scares me and pains me is the reaction of people and the rising violence. I don’t know what’s going on in your country but here in France, people are going nuts. It’s quite scary to hear all the terrible things humans do to each other. I don’t understand why. I don’t understand when people decided that they can do whatever they want and hurt whoever they want. We are all lost and sad. We are all stuck behind closed doors. We can’t do all we used to do. We have to make up for a new reality. We have to adjust and evolve. I am not sure everyone is realizing that. Many people are buying a lot of things. They are not caring for other or following government guidelines. They are only criticizing the government. I’m not sure they are doing the right thing either… But who am I to judge? I’m not in politics. I don’t have to be the one giving the bad news. I don’t have to make huge life and death decisions… So how can I judge them? I’m getting scared for our future if this is what humanity has become. Please tell me there is still hope out there for a better future...How I feel about hunting
I have always been an advocate to the animal cause. I have a lot of empathy for people but there is one “sport” I will never agree with. Hunting is for me nothing but cruelty. I will never agree with a “sport” that celebrates and congratulates killing. I believe the only person who can decide who lives and who dies is god. One should never kill. An animal is as much of a being as a human. I have such strong feelings that I believe people promoting it should be part of an experiment. In this experiment, they should experience what animals feel when they are hunted. I’m sorry if you are a fan of hunting. Honestly, I could never understand it but you are allowed to if you do. I will never condemn you for liking it. I only think it should not exist. What’s up with me?
I don’t think I have mentioned it here yet. I have lost my job on my 27th birthday. Covid-19 was the cause but also the remedy. The job in itself wasn’t all that bad. It was not ideal but nothing is. The team was nice. It was at a walking distance from my home which is always highly appreciated. It was quite the challenge and didn’t end up being what I thought it would be. It was a complicated 1 year and a half. To make ends meet, I had to work two jobs. I still didn’t have enough money to put some aside. I had a boss that was quite a piece of work at the beginning. Honestly, it wasn’t easy on all sides. In the end, I guess Covid-19 gave me a chance. Unfortunately, with the current situation, it has been complicated to find another job. I’m hoping to find one soon.I have also moved in with my boyfriend (Mr. B for those who follow me on Instagram). We are living in a smaller and recent flat. It has a big balcony which is great. You might remember this post I did back in 2019. Now going on my 27th year, I am getting closer to my 30s… Thus my skincare routine has quite evolved. However, I still use some of my favourite skincare products such as those Bodyshop face masks: British Rose mask & Himalayan charcoal mask or even the midnight recovery from Kielh’s. They are basics everyone should own. I will then only tell you about the new things I have added.
I use Rosa Centifolia Gentle Exfoliating Cleanser two times a week to get rid of all the pollution. It doesn’t hurt my skin. I have to admit I am a big fan of Ren skincare. The composition is good and my skin reacts well to their products.
To conclude, as you can see I use pretty much all the same things I did before. At night, I do the following steps. First, I remove my makeup with Garnier micellar water. Then, I moisturize my face with Origins’s Ginzing cream with a drop of Byby Beauty Bakuchiol booster. I apply a dab of my banana bright cream on my under-eyes. In the morning, I will wash my face with Ren cleasing gel then I use my AHA lotion tonique Ready Steady Glow. After, I moisturise my face with my PAI soothing cream and my eye cream.

Ren, Rosa Centifolia Cleansing gel.
I have used Rosa Centifolia Cleansing gel a couple of years ago. I recently got back into it. It does the work. I’m fairly satisfied. I would recommend it to all my city girls.Ren, AHA Lotion tonic Ready Steady Glow.
I find that my pores are tighter. I feel more refreshed and cleansed. I don’t know if my skin is brighter… Nonetheless, if I don’t use it, there is a huge difference. My skin will be less soft and good looking.Banana Bright Eye cream, Ole Henricksen.
I’m not sure about the Banana Bright Eye cream. To be honest, I am not over the moon. It seems to do the trick. My eyes are less dry but it does nothing to my very dark circles… If you know a good one, I am interested. Please let me know in the comments.PAI, Chamomile & Rosehip Soothing Moisturiser.
I have been using Chamomile & Rosehip Soothing Moisturiser daily for 2 years now. It’s fairly good and also has a clean composition. It’s fairly natural and calm my skin like nothing else. It’s very good hydrating cream if you have sensitive skin.Origins, Ginzing cream.
At night, I switch things up and use the Ginzing cream instead of my PAI cream. I always use a tiny amount. It doesn’t feel too heavy and my skin feels smooth after.BYBI BEAUTY, Bakuchiol Booster
I always pair the Bakuchiol Booster with my night cream. A tiny drop is enough to cover your face. It will make your skin look better in the morning. However, it’s quite thick and oily. You will need to be careful not to use too much or it will run everywhere. To conclude, as you can see I use pretty much all the same things I did before. At night, I do the following steps. Hello my dear,
This is part of my new project. I want to add a little fashion side to my blog. I have a huge passion for fashion but I have never exposed it here. I don’t know exactly why. I have a few ideas in stock to change things up. In fact, you might see a lot of fashion related blogs in the next few weeks.
In this post, we will talk about 5 basics to have in your wardrobe in Autumn. You might already own some or all of those items. I will be sure to enclose a few suggestions you could shop if you don’t.
First on my list and a favourite of mine for years are booties. I long for them in Summer and cannot wait to wear them in Autumn. I feel like they make any outfit fabulous. Shoes are definitely one of my favourite wardrobe items anyway.
Scarfs are just the cosiest thing. I have a passion for big soft scarves that can almost be called a plaidie. I find it so comforting and pleasing.
Nothing beats a soft sweater. As you might remember from an old blogpost, I freaking love sweaters. It’s probably my most worn item of clothing. I have so many sweaters. It’s unreal. The other day, I was trying to reduce them and decide on which to keep. I failed gloriously. I cannot seem to be able to get rid of my babies.
I used to own several leather skirts. Several shapes and forms of different colours of (fake) leather. I recently decided to size down. As I moved house, I didn’t have the same size of wardrobe. I was thus forced to part with some of my most well loved pieces. However, I think one should own at least 2 leather skirts. If you had to pick only one: a black leather skirt you could wear on a night out and at work would be best.
A jacket that has style. A statement piece if you wish. It doesn’t have to be in bold colour. You should pick a jacket that would make any outfit pop. I am thinking of an aviator jacket, a leather jacket, a cool parka with faux fur… Pick your favourite and the one that suits your style. It should fit well with the rest of your wardrobe.
In conclusion, what one should always remember in this area of consumption is to invest in key pieces and not always go for the trendy pieces. You will get tired of them and end up losing money. Over the years, I have gathered a few pieces that I will always wear and cherish. The only advice I wish I had received was to always buy clothing that is a little bigger than your actual size. My weight has fluctuated so much over the last two years that I had to let go of my favourite pieces. I was so crushed. Now, I prefer something a little less fitted. This way I know that I will get as much out of it as I can.
I will always have those 5 items in my autumn wardrobe: a scarf, a jacket, a skirt, a sweater and a pair of booties. They have been a part of my essential wardrobe for years.
What about you, what are your key item for Autumn?

Hello my birds,
It’s been quite the rollercoaster. I’ve had a complicated month of september to say the least... I’m having trouble staying positive so this post is very good for my mental health. I'm strong believer of the quote: "life gets worst before it gets better". So I'm looking out for the best part. The best is yet to come.
Without further due, you will find my list below of 5 things I'm grateful for :
1. Mr B. we have had our ups and down like every couple but in the end, I’m glad we stuck together.
2. My family and friends. I don’t honestly know how I would have gotten through this month - even past months - without them.
3. My birthday parties. I absolutely bloody loved them. It was nice and cosy. I cooked for my friends. They got to see our new flat.
4. Kind People. In general, I was blessed to talk and exchange with pretty human and helpful people. They helped me get through a few things.
5. The weather. I love how it finally is. I was getting so tired of summer. Summers here in France are so warm… I hate it.
I have to admit I was also grateful for my gym. It has been a lovely escape. Unfortunately due to Covid-19, I have been deprived from my daily dose of fitness. Can you feel how crushed I am?
I want to know how you’ve been too. Let me know what’s up. How are you feeling lately?
What are you grateful for?

Hello my birds,
This summer has been quite the rollercoaster.
I was supposed to go to England with my girlfriends but it was cancelled because of the Covid-19.
I was fortunate enough to get a week off to go to the north of France. I went to see my boyfriend's family. We went to the city he is from. It was nice discovering his roots and meeting his family and friends. It was quite short. And we had to get tested before seeing everyone. We went to an hotel which wasn't very great. The room was clean but very small for the price. Nonetheless, it was very close from his family... So that's always that!
We went to a few cities with strange names such as: Cap Fréhel, Les Chaos Du Gouet, Pléneuf-Val-André & Ploumanac'H.
It was so beautiful. The weather was awesome. Not too warm nor too hot. The perfect balance between sun & warmth. I was so amazed by the beautiful landscapes. I hope you'll be as smitten as me!
Have you ever been to Bretagne or France? Did you enjoy it?
