Hello lovebirds,
I try to be conscious about the way I shop. Oh boy, it's not easy. Especially since we live in a world where fast fashion is everywhere. No one seems to care about Ethic. The fashion industry is making millions with poor working conditions. Most of the time, there are no disclosure, no official statement. Every bad thing is kept under control.
Fashion has always been a big part of my life. When I was a kid, I would dress up and pretend to be in a fashion show almost every weekend. I love fashion. I love the power of fashion. However, I think it's important to be conscious of how we shop. I don't mean for you to stop shopping in Primark/Zara/H&M because they can produce cheap and affordable clothes. We all have different budgets and priorities.
We have all been there. Letting the society decide for us what to wear and who to be.
I'll simply ask you to consider changing your consumption habits. Buying less. Making it count. Looking for Ethic shops. Looking for quality over quantity. Supporting local - or simply smaller companies - over big groups of the fashion industry. To not throw away clothes - and money - or buy things you will never wear - just in case.
Whenever I'm shopping, I always ask myself the following questions: " do I really need it? Where was it made? What group owns this fashion clothing store? Do I see myself wearing this for years to come?"
Whenever I can, I buy stuff from local artists, vintage or members of the Ethical Trading Initiative shops. If you have not watched it or are not aware of the True Cost of Fashion. I think you should have a look on their website & movie.
On that note, I have gathered a few unique items from my favourite place to shop: Etsy. You don't have to break the bank to be careful about where to shop.
I prefer to invest in key pieces than to have a big closet filled with cheap and trendy clothes. What about you?
I hope you'll be inspired. Thank you for reading and I'll see you soon ♥ x

Hello my loves,
I am a big fan of Yoga. I used to do a lot of yoga but now with my work and my studies, I don't have much time left. However, I always make sure to do my sunday yoga. Most of the time, I find nice videos on youtube and follow them. I don't know what it is about Yoga but I looooove it. Ever since, I started I can't let go.
More often than not, people have the wrong idea of what yoga is. They have this idea of what it should be. I often hear people who have never done yoga say that it's very boring. How can you know that you don't like it if you have not tried it?
If you give it a try, you might be surprised and learn to love it! It's an easy way to work out and refresh your mind. You can even simply do 5 or 10 min Yoga. It's simply up to you. Going out of one's comfort's zone is soooo important. That's where the magic happens.
I hope you'll find some of those videos helpful. Thank you for reading and I'll see you soon ♥ x

Hello lovebirds,
I hope you're having a lovely day. I can't believe the month of July is almost over. It went by sooo fast and yet so slow. It was a big month for me. The finish line. I feel so happy it's behind me now. I feel lighter. I have decided to take this time to reflect on this past few months. It's time to be grateful. In this world, we take too much for granted. Cleary, we've all become disposable. We are always rushing, wanting, consuming. We all tend to loose focus on what matters. If this year has taught me anything it's just that.
1. I'm finally going on holidays. It has been way too long. I'm so excited to discover Milan. By the way, if you have any tips or place to recommend, I would love it!
2. Friends definitely are the family we choose. I've finally accepted that in life, you loose people and that's okay. Some people are not meant to stay in your life. They are part of your past and that's for the best. Only the best sticks around.
3. This is the end of an era for me. I've given a year of my life to the company I work for. It's the end of a chapter and I can't wait to see what's next. The unknown is something exciting. It's full of opportunities.
4. I went a bit cray-cray and got a second hand designer bag. It's one of those designer bags I've been drooling over for years. Who said I was sane?
5. Time. Time does make everything better. Smoother. Easier.
Thank you for reading and I'll see you on Thursday ♥ x

A few month back, this face mask was all over the internet. It was out of stock everywhere. It was so hyped. I have to admit I did succomb to the crowd as soon as I got a taste of it. I repurchased it since. I use it twice a week. I leave it on for 10 minutes. So here is my review of the bodyshop's face mask.
― BRAND'S DESCRIPTION
Refine and revive your skin with our Himalayan Charcoal Purifying Glow Mask. Inspired by Ayurvedic traditions, this 100% vegan tingling clay mask is infused with bamboo charcoal, green tea leaves and organic tea tree oil. And it’s been formulated without parabens, paraffin, silicone or mineral oil. This invigorating charcoal face mask draws out impurities and refines the appearance of pores for healthy-looking skin with a glow that shows.
First of all, I love that this mask is 100% vegan and is formulated without parabens, paraffin, silicone or mineral oil. I like the consistency of the mask. I have sensitive combinaison skin and this works well on me. My skin feels soft and hydrated, and my pores look so much better. However, it has a strong 'tingling effect' but nothing too serious and it doesn't hurt. It does take a while to remove but it's sooo worth it.
Thank you for reading and I'll see you on Monday! ♥ x

It's no surprise that I'm a MAC lover. The first makeup I ever purchased was from MAC so I guess this is why I always have a nostalgic feeling whenever I get something from MAC.
I was about to take pictures for this blogpost when I realized that I've lost one of my mac lipsticks. It's so sad. I used to own Armorous. It's one of my favourite mac lipstick shades... I might have to re-purchase it next payday... I don't think I can live without it!
― MY MAC COLLECTION
Brave - Cosmo - Fastplay - Diva. (from left to right)
As you can see, I'm a bit of a nude lover. It's a stapple in any lipsticks collection. Something that goes with any makeup and can be used every season. My favourite nude shade has to be Brave. It was my very first mac lipstick. For a bolder look, I always reach for my Diva lisptick which is my latest addition.
♡ SWATCHES
So this is what the lipsticks look like on my lips. I'm still new at this swatches game so be gentle. I hope it still helps. Now, you know what's in my mac collection. What about you? Which mac lipsticks do you own?

I think we have all been there. This 'too much' feeling that cuts you to the core. Why is the world like this? What does it has define everything? Why can't we simply live? Why can't we be enough? Why does everything and everyone always have to be too much or too little? Can't we find a balance?
I don't know about you but I've always been called too much and yet never enough. I'm always defined as ' a handful '. I always take too much space. I always open my mouth too much. I'm a walking paradoxe. If there is anything I've learnt over the years is to never appologize for who you are. - unless you're an asshole then get them a new phone. You are who you are. Life happens. Things change. We all make mistakes and learn from them. There is no such thing as being not good enough or too much when you did the best you could.
Society claims that I'm human therefore I am fragile. Don't we all learn at a young age that feelings don't matter and we should hide our hearts? I guess, I skipped that one.
If there is anything I'd like to say to people who are defined by society as too much,, it would be the following message:
YOU ARE TOO MUCH TO BE PUT INTO WORDS. YOUR GREATNESS IS GREATER THAN WHAT THEY CAN PROCESS. YOU ARE MORE THAN ENOUGH. YOU ARE WHAT THE WORLD IS MADE OF. SOMEDAY, SOMEONE IS GOING TO SEE ALL THAT YOU ARE AND BE AS GREAT AS YOU. THEY WILL SEE YOU AS A CHALLENGE. A CHALLENGE THAT THEY CAN MEASURE UP TO AND ALL WILL BE ALRIGHT.
Cause after all, society only fears what they cannot understand.
What about you, what is your label? Have you ever been called: "not enought" or "too much"?
Thank you for reading and I'll see you soon ♥ x
