Instead of doing my favourite skincare products, I thought I would do something different. What’s more different than doing the exact opposite? I see nothing better than doing the worst skincare products I ever bought. It’s always helpful to know which products one does not recommend.
To get you started, here are a few details about my skin type and lifestyle.
First of all, I have a sensitive skin. I also have a combination skin. It means that it’s not easy for me to find products that will suit my skin. Bare in mind, if you have a different skin type, you might have a different reaction to the products I am mentioning.
As regards my lifestyle, I live in the city centre. It has a lot of pollution. It’s very windy and the climate is quite warm. We don’t really get cold winters here but we have very hot summers. I usually go to the gym at least 3 times a week. Sometimes more, sometimes less, it depends on my mood. I try to eat healthy most of the time but I will rarely say no to a pizza or a burger.
Biotherm, Aquasource hydrating gel.
First one my list is Aqua Souce hydrating gel. The texture & smell are fairly good. However, it didn’t do anything to my skin. If anything, I got a lot of acne whereas I usually don’t have much. I didn’t like it at all.Clinique all’ bout eye cream
This cream is not the worst product I have ever used but it did nothing to my dark circles. I even ended up having pink eyes. It still hydrates your eyes well. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking to prevent dark circles from appearing and needs moisture.L'Oreal Paris Elvive Extraordinary Oil
L’Oréal Paris Elvive Extraordinary Oil wasn’t a good fit for my hair. I did something at first. In the beginning, they seemed a little more healthier and less dehydrated. Then after a few uses, it seemed to do nothing. My hair was greasier.Ora Paris, Argile shampoo & conditioner
I tried their Keratine range and it was amazing. This range however is pretty terrible. I have to wash my hair everyday if I use it. I would not recommend it at all. It is not nourishing at all either.I guess I was lucky enough not to come across too many bad products for my skin. What about you?
What’s the worst item of beauty you have ever bought?
Thank you for reading and I'll see you soon ♥ x

Hello my birds,
It's been a long time since I changed my beauty routine. I'm the kind of girl who usually sticks with a routine. I used to be a huge Khiel's fan. I still use their face cream during the day but I felt like I needed to switch things up. I didn't want to go back to my usual safe bet either. I then decided to try only new things. On a sunny saturday morning I went to the closest Sephora. By the way, I need to do a room toor soon. I moved into a new city three months ago and my new flat is pretty cool. However, the decor is not finished yet. Anyway, I'm getting off topic here. As I was saying, I went for 3 new products and I will share my first impressions on all of them. I hope you will enjoy that :)
― By Terry, baume de rose, face cream.
First off, I loooove the smell of this By Terry Baume de Rose Face cream. The colour is a beautiful creamy dusty pink. It has a light and creamy formula. It doesn't feel greasy at all. You don't need to use a lot of product either. My skin appears brighter and hydrated.
― Origins, Out of trouble, face mask.
I am a big fan of Origins Charocal mask. The Out of Trouble face mask though doesn't make a huge difference to be honest. I've only used it once but I didn't notice anything significant. I will have to try it a few times before making a clear decision but so far I'm not impressed.
― Clinique, all about eyes rich, eye cream.
I've only tried Clinique's take the day off range on which I did a review back in June 2017. I didn't hate it so I thought why not try their skincare range as well. A friend of mine recommended me the eyes rich eye cream from Clinique. I will need 2 weeks to see if it actually works on me. I will keep you posted! Nonetheless, it doesn't hurt my sensitive eyes.
― Sephora, Promegranate eye masks.
I have tried a couple of those masks. I even did a review on this eye mask. You can find it here. I'm hoping it'll work better this time! Fingers crossed, my babes.
On overall, it's a pretty successful haul. I cannot wait to do a review on all of those new products I have incorporated in my 2019 skincare routine.
What is your current skincare routine?

Hello lovebirds, I hope all is well. Long time no see, I know. I have been running out of time and energy but I miss blogging way too much! I have been trying a few different ways to remove my makeup. On the top of that list has been Garnier. I'm on more of a budget these days... So I try to figure out ways to cut expenses. As I heard wonders about this brand, I decided to give it my best shot. 3 months later, here is my full report...
Description & use
I tried a few makeup removers from the Garnier SkinActive range. I tried the sensitive & dry skin and the sensitive skin products. I also gave the yellowy Biphase a go. It wasn't my cup of tea. A few weeks ago, they released a new - and blue - version which was more my style. The pink product is fairly easy to use. You use a cotton pad to apply it on your face and remove all your make up. It does take a few before you are completely makeup free. The blue product is more suitable to remove eye makeup and lipstick. Don't forget to shake it up before applying it on your cotton pads!
My thoughts
Both products are equally good but I do prefer the micellar water. I'm not the biggest fan of the oily side of every biphase products I have ever encountered... I'm on my third pink bottle so I think it's safe to say that I'm hooked! It's a cheaper and nice alternative to my usual products. For once, drugstores products have conquered my heart... Sweet birds, what's happening?
Do I recommend those products? Yes, 100% to anyone looking for good drugstore products.
Have you tried anything from Garnier's skincare range?
Thank you for reading and I'll see you soon ♥ x

Hello my lovebirds,
I hope all is well for you. For those who went back to school, I hope it went very well. New year, new resolutions. I wish you to have an amazing year at work or/and at school.
I bought a few skincare products. Thus, I've added a few new things into my (night) skincare routine. I thought I would share with you, my thoughts on every product.
― Kiehl's, Ultra facial cream & midnight recovery concentrate.
I use this cream every night with a drop of the midnight concentrate serum. You don’t need to use a huge amount of product. Let’s just say a little goes a long way. I was offered a sample of this face cream and simply fell in love with it. It gives just the right amount of moisture. It’s not too greasy either. Paired with the serum, I always wake-up feeling like I have an amazing skin. I was afraid the serum would be too greasy but turns out it's not at all. I only use a drop or two every night and it's just wonderful.
― Kiehl's, creamy eye treatment.
I bought this product in Italy. I have wanted to try this product since March and finally made the big jump. I’m not disappointed. I feel like my eyes are less dry but I think I might need to switch for something for my dark circles issue. My dark circles are not less dark but there are still some dark circles here. I might just be destined to have dark circles for the rest of my life…
― The bodyshop, tea tree oil.
Thanks to a PR sample, I got to try this product. Well, I didn’t think magic existed until I first started using this… It does wonder. It gets rid of any blemishes I could have after only a few applications. I use a Q-tip to apply the product where I want it to be. It seems more hygienic and this way I can be sure to apply it directly on the right spot. Mmm, so charming, isn't it?
― Liz Earle, Cleanse & Polish cleanser.
This is an old time favourite. I’ve been using this product for over 3 years now. I don’t remember where I first discovered it… I think it was back when I lived in Ireland with one of my bestfriends. I always gravitate toward this cleanser. I have yet to find something as good as this one.
― Garnier, skinactive micellar all in one.
Whenever I feel lazy or need a quick make up remover, I reach for this product. I’ve seen it a couple of time on the blogosphere. I agree with the reviews, it’s good quality for the price. I will definitely be repurchasing it even if it does take a few try to completely remove my eye make-up.
What's new with you? What's in your skincare routine?

I don't know what it's about summer but I always buy Clinique products as soon as the sun comes up. I went a bit overboard and puchased most of the Take the day off range. - Me? Reasonable? When have I ever been...
―Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Oil
The first one I picked up is this one. I don't usually like oils but this one, girls, is nothing like anything I've encountred. It turns into this lovely foamy, liquidy thing. It's quite funny to use. I like to use it to remove my eye makeup. My skin always feels soft and clean after.
―Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm
This is probably my favourite out of the brunch. I love that it goes from solid to liquid form in an instant. However, I feel like it doesn't remove make up as well. I often have to use it twice to remove all my makeup. Other than that, it's an absolute dream.
―Clinique Take The Day Off Makeup Remover For Lids, Lashes & Lips
Well, I haaaaate the formula of this one but it works wonderfully. It removes even the toughest lipsticks stains. It's the best eyes and lips remover I have ever tried. I just wished it had a different formula. This one feels sooo greasy... I hate it. Kinda a love/hate relationship... Do you feel me?
4 ✰
On overall, I absolutely love the idea of this new range. I'm loving using water to remove my makeup. There is something about a splash of cold water on your face in summer which always makes me happy!

Hello dearies, I hope you're having a better spring season than we are. Spring was my favourite season. I love knowing that summer is just around the corner. I love sunny and not too warm days. I don't feel like Spring has kicked in yet. I think it got lost somewhere... But hey, Spring, if you can read me, come quick, we have been waiting for you!
As a matter of fact, every season, I like to switch things up in my skincare routine. Even if, I'll admit, there is something that I always keep in my skincare routine *winks at CT magic cream*
― Oskia,renaissance cleansing gel
I've already mentioned this product before... I have gotten used to the smell but I think I prefer Liz Earle's Cleanse & Polish™ Hot Cloth Cleanser. I need to repurchase that one soon. On overall, I've still been enjoying using it. I find the formula of the product difficult to manage. I'm sorry to say that I don't get what all the fuss is about... It didn't radically change my life... It's a good product but it's not the best for me.
― Charlotte Tilbury, magic cream
I cannot stop raving about this face cream. I don't think my skin will ever get bored of this wonderful formula. It's my go-to day cream. I have now been using it for a whole year and my skin has improved considerably. I have found my perfect day cream. Let's hope it lasts.
― Origins, GinZing™ Refreshing Eye
This is my second time purchasing this item. I seem to always go back to this eye cream. Its formula isn't too rich. It's hydrating. It helps reducing the dark circles under my eyes. What else, could I ask for ? Glitters' tears ?
― Florame, moisturizing face cream
I have recently added this product onto my skincare regimen. At first, I used it with the serum from the same range and my skin had a bit of an allergic reaction. - well, keep in mind that my skin is hot-headed. However, it seems like when I used only this cream has a night cream, I wake up with a well-rested skin. So not too bad for a face cream made with 98% natural ingredients, right?
― Caudalie, micellar water
This is my favourite micellar water. I've tried numerous micellar waters over the year and I always find my way back to this one. It removes my makeup so well. It leaves my face feeling clean and fresh. It's all I need.

Hiiii there, lovebirds! I hope all is well for you. I picked up those sheet masks on Tuesday. I wanted to do a review for you. I'm so intrigued by those. They are everywhere at the moment. Sheet masks are trending. Beauty trends come and go so I decided to find out what the fuss was about. I'm not that into sheet masks. I don't like the idea of having a sheet of paper stuck to my face... Yep, I'm THAT WEIRD. I mean, don't you find it a bit weird that you have to put a piece of paper on your face ?
Brand description :
1. EYE MASK. Reduces signs of fatigue, awakens, and tones the eye for a rested, energetic look.
2. FOOT MASK. Comforts and nourishes dry feet and softens rough areas with almond extract.
How to use them :
1. Suggested Usage:
-Remove the protective film from both white fiber patches.
-Position the patches under each eye area, as shown in the diagram on the package.
-Leave them on for 15 minutes, then remove and gently massage any excess product into the skin.
-No need to rinse.
2. Suggested Usage:
-Put the socks on clean, dry feet.
-Peel the paper film off the tab, and then fold around the ankle and press to close well.
-Leave socks on for 20 minutes.
-Gently massage any excess product into the skin.
-No need to rinse.
My opinion :
1. I used it exactly as advised above and didn't notice any change. I have very severe dark circles and this eye mask did nothing at all. Maybe this product would be more useful to those who don't have that much dark circles. It had a lovely smell and it was funny to use. I'm so disappointed that it didn't work on me... It wasn't something for me. I would be curious to know if anyone tried this and had a good result?! Let me know if you did!
2. Well, let me tell you, 20 minutes with something on your feet, feels like forever. I didn't want to walk with the socks/foot mask so I stayed put. Oh boy, it wasn't easy! - yes, it's as funny as it sounds ahahah. I love the smell of this Almond foot mask. I kind of fancy almond in general so I might be biased. Unfortunately, I didn't notice any change. At first, my feet seemed softer but after a few moments they were back to their normal state. It didn't lasted for more than 20 minutes. I feel like my Heel Genius from Soap & Glory does a better job!
Do I recommend this product?
1. Not really unless you get occasional dark circles. Then, maybe this eye mask could work on you.
2. I won't be buying this foot mask ever again. I'm so disappointed! Even if it smells great in the end, it doesn't really work so what's the point?
Sadly, I won't be buying those Sephora Sheet masks any time soon. Luckily, it wasn't terribly expensive but still it's quite disappointing. I would be curious to know if anyone tried those masks and had different results. It might simply be that those masks weren't a good fit for me.
Share your thoughts on those sheet masks in the comments below. Have you tried anything from that Sephora sheet Mask range? What is your favourite sheet mask? Thanks for reading and I'll see you soon ♥

Hi my lovebirds! I hope all is well. I've made the splurge. I've given up. Yes, I finally hopped on the Eve Lom waggon. I know, I'm a couple of years late but it's one of those things, you cannot forget. I bought my 50ml mask from Space NK. It retails at £35.
Brand description :
' The Eve Lom Rescue Mask is packed with beneficial ingredients to enhance your overall skin condition. Cooling camphor decongests and almond extract reduces redness. Kaolin absorbs excess oil and reduces puffiness while ground almonds gently exfoliate for a smoother surface. Honey and glycerine condition the skin, leaving it soft and supple. Available at Space NK, this mask will give an instant boost to any complexion, leaving skin healthy and radiant. It’s available in a larger pot, or in a tube for travelling.
The ultimate deep-cleansing treatment to help to clear congested skin and brighten your complexion. Multi-award winner and part of the InStyle Hall of Fame, this kaolin-based mask can be used as a weekly essential, or emergency treatment for sluggish and stressed-out skin. '
How to use your Eve Lom Rescue mask
' Apply a medium to thick layer on cleansed, dry skin. Leave to set for approximately 15 to 20 minutes. Remove by gently buffing off the dry mask with your fingers, using small upward circular motions, and then rinse off with tepid water. Alternatively, soften the mask using a damp muslin cloth before rinsing off. '
My opinion :
I've been using this mask for over a month now. It does the trick. My skin feels better afterwards. My sensitive skin didn't have a reaction or anything like that. I always left it on for 15 minutes. I rince it off with circular motions and then use my Foreo to finish off my pamper evening.
Do I recommend this product?
Yes absolutely! It's a nice product. A bit pricey (less pricey if you get the 50ML) but still it's worth the money. However, I'm not sure I would buy it again.

Heeeey my lovebirds! How are you feeling today? I decided to talk about skincare. I've had dark circles for years now. My dark circles appeared about 4 years ago. They were pretty bad back then. Think, dark purple - almost blackish - under eye circles. It was a real struggle. Unfortunately, it had nothing to do with sleep and more to do with genetics.
As always, bare in mind, that is little guide, isn't made by a professional. Those facts are only the results of countless hours of research and drawn out of my personnal experiences. In other words, no skincare expert here but it doesn't make it less true. It's simply my point of view and a list of things who worked in my particular case. I'm sharing it with you, in the hope that it will help someone, who like me, is struggling with dark circles.
WHAT ARE DARK CIRCLES ?
Dark circles are those dark shadows that appears under your eyes. It can be caused by lack of sleep, genetics or even aging. Unfortunately, to this day, no magic formula has been invented to erase dark circles on the long-term. However, you can reduce those threatening shadows.
HOW TO CARE FOR DARK CIRCLES ?
One very important step is moisturize. Keep your under eye area hydrated by gently patting an eye cream under yours eyes. My favourite under eyes creams are : Shiseido INTENSIVE Anti Dark Circles Eye Cream and Origins GinZing™ Refreshing Eye Cream. You can also cool down your eyes with a cold washcloth or cucumber slices. I've also heard of hydrating eye patch. I don't know what it's worth... I've yet to try those methods.
HOW TO HIDE THEM ?
I think it was last year that I explained - in details - how to properly hide your dark circles. I was at the beginning of my beauty journey. I feel like I've learn a lot more since then. It doesn't matter if you like to use your fingers, a beauty blender or a brush. I think it's important to pick the right shade of concealer. It shouldn't be too cakey, too dark or too light. It should be able to reduce the purpleish/brownish colour of your dark circles. And yet, still not look cakey. It's not an easy task. Like people, concealers are not perfect but here are a few of my favourite concealers : Nars radiant creamy concealer and Collection lasting perfection concealer. By the way, a few month ago, I did a review of that collection concealer.
Do you have any skincare issue? Do you have dark circles? What are your tips on how to care for dark circles? What your favourite concealers? Don't hesitate to share it with us! I'm sure it can be helpful to someone out there :) Thanks for reading and I will see you on wednesday! ♥

Heeey my lovebirds !
Hey lovebirds! You have probably heard all about this LUNA PLAY but I definitely wanted to do my own review. This pink baby costs around 35 €. It's a lot cheaper than the rest of its sisters : the Luna Mini, Luna Go or Luna 2. I purchased mine on Feelunique but you can also buy it on their website.
My opinion :
This baby pink Foreo has T-Sonic™ pulsation technology. However, it didn't harm my sensitive skin. It is easy to operate and to carry around. It's so tiny and soft. Unfortunately, it only lasts for about a hundred times. It cannot be recharged unlike the other Luna. You have to be careful to only use it for a minute or else you can kiss goodbye to your 100 chances!
I've been using my Luna Play for about two months. My skin really does feel smoother. I didn't notice anything else.
Do I recommend this product?
I'm considering updating to Luna 2 or Luna Go. I'm not sure yet. Time will tell. I don't necessary recommend this product but I don't regret buying it either. I don't think of Luna Play as something I NEED in my skincare essentials. Nonethless, I love using my Luna!
Have you tried one of the Foreo ? How do you get along with it? Please, let me know in the comments below! I can't wait to read what you think :) Thanks for reading and I'll see you on Monday ♥
Coucou mes lovelies !

Hello my lovebirds! I recently shared with you my last discovery :the original coffee scrub. I've actually find something else I've been loving. It's the body shop body butter. It smells amazing! It leaves my skin smooth and seriously less dry. I've been using it for a couple of weeks. I'm addicted to the smell. It's incredible! It does smell like raspberries. I love how easy it's to apply and how good it smells. It melt and hydrates your skin. I much prefer body butter to any classical body cream. It's definitely my favourite body butter!
Have you ever tried any of the body shop body butter? Which one is your favourite?
Thanks for reading and I'll see you tomorrow! ♥

Hello my lovebirds!
