Hello my dear,
This is part of my new project. I want to add a little fashion side to my blog. I have a huge passion for fashion but I have never exposed it here. I don’t know exactly why. I have a few ideas in stock to change things up. In fact, you might see a lot of fashion related blogs in the next few weeks.
In this post, we will talk about 5 basics to have in your wardrobe in Autumn. You might already own some or all of those items. I will be sure to enclose a few suggestions you could shop if you don’t.
First on my list and a favourite of mine for years are booties. I long for them in Summer and cannot wait to wear them in Autumn. I feel like they make any outfit fabulous. Shoes are definitely one of my favourite wardrobe items anyway.
Scarfs are just the cosiest thing. I have a passion for big soft scarves that can almost be called a plaidie. I find it so comforting and pleasing.
Nothing beats a soft sweater. As you might remember from an old blogpost, I freaking love sweaters. It’s probably my most worn item of clothing. I have so many sweaters. It’s unreal. The other day, I was trying to reduce them and decide on which to keep. I failed gloriously. I cannot seem to be able to get rid of my babies.
I used to own several leather skirts. Several shapes and forms of different colours of (fake) leather. I recently decided to size down. As I moved house, I didn’t have the same size of wardrobe. I was thus forced to part with some of my most well loved pieces. However, I think one should own at least 2 leather skirts. If you had to pick only one: a black leather skirt you could wear on a night out and at work would be best.
A jacket that has style. A statement piece if you wish. It doesn’t have to be in bold colour. You should pick a jacket that would make any outfit pop. I am thinking of an aviator jacket, a leather jacket, a cool parka with faux fur… Pick your favourite and the one that suits your style. It should fit well with the rest of your wardrobe.
In conclusion, what one should always remember in this area of consumption is to invest in key pieces and not always go for the trendy pieces. You will get tired of them and end up losing money. Over the years, I have gathered a few pieces that I will always wear and cherish. The only advice I wish I had received was to always buy clothing that is a little bigger than your actual size. My weight has fluctuated so much over the last two years that I had to let go of my favourite pieces. I was so crushed. Now, I prefer something a little less fitted. This way I know that I will get as much out of it as I can.
I will always have those 5 items in my autumn wardrobe: a scarf, a jacket, a skirt, a sweater and a pair of booties. They have been a part of my essential wardrobe for years.
What about you, what are your key item for Autumn?

Brown or Black boots

Hello my birds,
It’s been quite the rollercoaster. I’ve had a complicated month of september to say the least... I’m having trouble staying positive so this post is very good for my mental health. I'm strong believer of the quote: "life gets worst before it gets better". So I'm looking out for the best part. The best is yet to come.
Without further due, you will find my list below of 5 things I'm grateful for :
1. Mr B. we have had our ups and down like every couple but in the end, I’m glad we stuck together.
2. My family and friends. I don’t honestly know how I would have gotten through this month - even past months - without them.
3. My birthday parties. I absolutely bloody loved them. It was nice and cosy. I cooked for my friends. They got to see our new flat.
4. Kind People. In general, I was blessed to talk and exchange with pretty human and helpful people. They helped me get through a few things.
5. The weather. I love how it finally is. I was getting so tired of summer. Summers here in France are so warm… I hate it.
I have to admit I was also grateful for my gym. It has been a lovely escape. Unfortunately due to Covid-19, I have been deprived from my daily dose of fitness. Can you feel how crushed I am?
I want to know how you’ve been too. Let me know what’s up. How are you feeling lately?
What are you grateful for?

Hello my birds,
This summer has been quite the rollercoaster.
I was supposed to go to England with my girlfriends but it was cancelled because of the Covid-19.
I was fortunate enough to get a week off to go to the north of France. I went to see my boyfriend's family. We went to the city he is from. It was nice discovering his roots and meeting his family and friends. It was quite short. And we had to get tested before seeing everyone. We went to an hotel which wasn't very great. The room was clean but very small for the price. Nonetheless, it was very close from his family... So that's always that!
We went to a few cities with strange names such as: Cap Fréhel, Les Chaos Du Gouet, Pléneuf-Val-André & Ploumanac'H.
It was so beautiful. The weather was awesome. Not too warm nor too hot. The perfect balance between sun & warmth. I was so amazed by the beautiful landscapes. I hope you'll be as smitten as me!
Have you ever been to Bretagne or France? Did you enjoy it?

Hello my birds,
It feels so good to be back.
The one good thing about the current situation is that I have more time to do the things I love which are: self care, sports, blogging, taking photos and relax. I've thus decided that I will blog again. 2020 is going to be the year I get back into blogging. After all, there are 652 of you. I cannot let you down.
For my 26th birthday, my friends and I decided to go on a little adventure. We spent our weekend: 48 hours in Italy. We went to the airport straight after work. Our flight was delayed so we were in our Airbnb past midnight. We managed to find a place which would deliver us food but it was the most disgusting pizza we ever ate. Definitely not a great start to our Italian adventure...
The weather was very warm and not so windy. It was very sunny. We spent the day walking around Palermo, doing an itinerary I found on Google. The city was very cute and crowded. It's quite surprising. Restaurants are quite expensive and not the best food I ever ate. If you cook your own food, it'll definitely cost less. For instance, we bought everything to do a big and full breakfast for 5 and it costs us less than half of what it would have cost us in France. They have so many vegan options as well. I tasted the best Vegan chocolate spread ever. Food is good and cheap. I wish it was the same here in France.
Indubitably, I could not travel and not shop. You know me, I'm addicted to shopping. Besides, after all, it was my birthday! So we ditched the boys and went on a small shopping spree. There were a few nice little shops in Palermo. Sephora was more expensive through. I was good and only bought a dress. If you know me, it deserves an applause.
On the night of my birthday, we ended up staying at the flat since our feet hurt like hell. We spent the night laughing, singing, drinking, eating and dancing. I could have not hoped for a better birthday.
On our last day, we walked around the block and then decided to take the bus to the airport. The airport is very small. It was quite a long wait. We arrived in France in time for dinner. I slept like a baby that night. It was an exhausting but amazing Birthday weekend with my friends.
Have you ever been to Italy?
